PROFILE

Artist and freelance creative practitioner with extensive experience in the sector.
Passionate about Wrecsam, community, co-creation, cynefin, inclusion, accessibility, lifelong learning, local history, and the benefits of shared creative activity for health and wellbeing. Extensive proven track record of collaborative work with community groups, schools, third & public sector partners, galleries, museums, local authorities and leisure services – with a particular focus on working with local communities to co-create work for public display, both temporary and permanent, in a broad range of materials.

Canal & River Trust The Bridge That Connects – Arts in Health Artist Residency.
Working with communities on creative projects via a series of community art workshops in Chirk, Froncysyllte, Cefn Mawr and Trevor.

WCBC Wellbeing Hub Digital mapping mural, via a series of community art workshops at the Safe Spaces Fun Day, Wrexham Play Day, Eisteddfod Cymru (2025)

WCBC Wellbeing Hub Community-generated public artwork for The Wellbeing Hub, created with the local community via a series of community art workshops at Safe Spaces fun day & Wrexham Play Day.
The Wallich In the Margins, a project funded by the Paul Hamlyn Project and consisting of a ten week residency at Felin Puleston working with residents of Richmond House and St John’s Hostel in Wrexham, culminating in a co-created, interactive, mixed media community map. Final celebration event in Ammanford, Ceredigion.

CRAFT CONNECT WREXHAM CIC (2021–Present)

In 2020 during the pandemic I set up a community crafting initiative called Cyswllt Crefftau Wrecsam / Craft Connect Wrecsam (CCW) to support health and wellbeing through shared creative activity. CCW is now a collective of five creatives, we continue to deliver textiles-based community crafting sessions, often in partnership with other organisations, to benefit our local community.
